Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. seeks a Mechanic II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration, diagnose issues, and complete both simple and complex repairs with supervision as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, diesel repair training, and 1+ year of fleet maintenance experience; ASE certifications are a plus. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school in heavy-duty diesel repairs preferred.
• 1+ year experience in fleet maintenance or Class C technician path.
• Valid Class C driver's license; Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Repair diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose issues and perform complex repairs without supervision.
• Complete paperwork and computer input accurately.
