Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic II to perform preventive maintenance and repair trailer refrigeration systems. You will handle mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnose issues, and perform wheel alignments as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with 2 years of diesel repair experience and ASE certification. On-call rotation and team collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school in heavy duty diesel repairs preferred.
• 2 years diesel/trailer repairs experience required.
• ASE PMI certification and Class C license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs (simple and complex).
• Diagnose and tune up diesel engines and perform wheel/axle alignments.
• Read service bulletins and manuals and maintain shop tools.
