Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B in the Delmar, MD area to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment. Under supervision, you will service chassis components, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, suspension, drive train, and more.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel and non-diesel equipment.
• Complete line maintenance and basic welding/fabrication as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair diesel/other trucks and refuse bodies on-site and on the road.
• Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and diagnostics.
• Perform basic line welding and fabrication as required.
• Support road service and ensure equipment is returned to operation safely.
