Job summary
Republic Services in Maryland is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to diagnose and repair components on diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulics, brakes, engines, HVAC, and suspensions. You will perform on-site and road maintenance, use electronic diagnostics, and complete company training.

Qualifications
- Diagnose multi-system issues in gasoline and diesel equipment.
- Understand work order labor time standards.
- Experience with Class 1-8 trucks or similar equipment; ASE/T1-T8 a plus.
- ASE certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
- CDL is a plus but not required.
- 3-5 years in a technician role or recent automotive school graduation.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain chassis components and refuse bodies.
- Repair hydraulic and electrical systems; service air and hydraulic brakes.
- Perform light engine, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain and steering maintenance.
- Welding and fabrication as needed.
- Provide road service to return equipment to operation.
- Identify malfunctions with electronic diagnostic tools.
- Complete required company training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
