Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a technician role diagnosing and repairing gasoline and diesel equipment.
- Graduating from an accredited automotive college or technical school within 3 months is acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose multi-system issues and perform preventative maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment.
- Repair chassis components, refuse bodies, and hydraulic/electrical systems; service air/brake systems.
- Perform light engine work, suspension, drivetrain, and HVAC maintenance; weld and fabricate as needed.
- Provide road service when required and ensure equipment is returned to operation safely.
