Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues with technical proficiency.
• Understand work order labor time standards.
• Experience with maintenance on heavy vehicles and equipment.
• ASE certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• 3-5 years of technician experience or automotive schooling completion within 3 months.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge and proficiency in vehicle components and systems.
• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Repair chassis components, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Light engine repair, suspension, drivetrain and steering work.
• HVAC maintenance and welding/fabrication as needed.
• Provide safe road service to return equipment to operation.
