Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B in Maryland to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel fleet equipment, from chassis to HVAC and braking systems. You’ll work under supervision, perform on-site and road service, and support drivers to keep routes running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in maintenance, basic understanding of work orders, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certifications and CDL are a plus; training will be provided to grow into advanced

Formación

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• Prior experience with maintenance on Class 1-8 trucks, aircraft, or ships.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains working knowledge of vehicle components and systems, performing preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance.
• Refuse bodies and associated hydraulic/electrical systems; air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Light engine repair and maintenance.
• Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
• Heating and air conditioning.
• Performs line welding and fabrication.
