Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease team, you will participate in decision-making, teaching, and quality improvement activities, while following policy, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state RN licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care and coordination under supervision.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis sessions and updates care plans.
• Educates patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Administers medications as prescribed and follows approved algorithms.
• Participates in staff training and quality improvement activities.
