Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. Provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group in a dialysis setting.

Under supervision, you will assist with hemodialysis therapy, document patient data, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient data during dialysis and adjust care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and self-care.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy under supervision.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to improve outcomes.
