Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. The role provides clinically competent care, assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group in a dialysis setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor or in collaboration with other Registered Nurses.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and documents in the medical record; adjusts treatment plan as indicated.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and participates in interprofessional team decisions.

Education
