Job summary

Palo Alto Networks seeks a Domain Consultant to join our DevOps Domain Consulting team. You’ll be the trusted technical advisor focusing on Application-Level and Agentic AI secrets management, helping customers secure machine identities across pipelines, cloud-native apps, AI Agents, and hybrid infra.

You will collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to position Idira solutions, run demos/POCs, and build technical trust with customers across geographies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role, ideally in cybersecurity/DevOps tooling.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.).
• Understanding of cryptographic security technologies such as SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI, and HSMs
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, or autonomous AI workflows to optimize engineering/automation.
• Development experience in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Scripting with PowerShell or Bash.
• Ability to work with REST APIs.
• Curiosity about the DevOps landscape and trends.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration, prompt engineering, or integrating AI agents into development lifecycles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing RFIs/RFPs and translating technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations for Idira technology.
• Conduct POC evaluations and position Idira’s value to win technical approvals.
• Act as the technical expert for machine identity security during sales cycles.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to articulate value to technical and business stakeholders.
• Conduct technical discovery to understand environments, challenges, and security goals.
• Translate customer requirements into solution architecture and deployment strategies.
• Influence product direction with PM and R&D and resolve customer issues.
• Stay updated on DevOps trends, CI/CD, Agentic AI frameworks, and best practices.
• Deliver technical workshops, webinars, and training to clients and internal teams.
• Travel to meet customers, attend conferences, or conduct on-site workshops.
