Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to collaborate with developer relations, product marketing, and sales to reach developers and technical decision makers across Akamai's Cloud and Security portfolios.

You will run programs that turn developer interest into engaged accounts, pipeline, and product adoption across PLG and SLG motions. As the marketing counterpart to Developer Relations, you will own the developer program calendar, lead initiatives at industry events

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in developer, community, or program marketing.
Experience running recurring developer, member, or customer programs such as webinars and newsletters.
Experience supporting sales-led teams through field events and sponsorships, including budget/vendor management.

Responsibilities

Run end-to-end developer and technical programs (podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops, onboarding).
Turn DevRel content into repeatable programs supporting Cloud and Security launches and campaigns.
Support SLG with field events and customer briefings; drive PLG sign-ups.
Lead Akamai's developer and open source presence at KubeCon, CNCF, Linux Foundation, Spin projects.
Manage budgets, vendors, sponsorships, ROI; report outcomes to stakeholders.
Own the developer program calendar with DevRel and product marketing; scale successful programs.
