Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to work with developer relations, product marketing, and sales to reach developers and technical decision makers across Akamai's Cloud and Security portfolios. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in developer, community, or program marketing.
• Experience running recurring developer programs (webinars, livestreams, newsletters) at scale.
• Experience supporting sales-led teams via field events, sponsorships, and customer briefings; managing budgets, vendors, ROI.
• Partner with DevRel to turn developer content into repeatable programs.
• Excellent written communication and ability to translate technical topics for developers and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end developer and technical programs (podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops).
• Turn DevRel content into repeatable programs supporting launches and campaigns.
• Support SLG with field events and customer briefings; drive sign-ups for PLG.
• Lead Akamai's developer and open source presence at conferences (KubeCon, CNCF, Linux Foundation).
• Manage budgets, vendors, sponsorships, and ROI; report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Maintain the developer program calendar with DevRel and product marketing.
