Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to drive developer and technical programs across Cloud and Security portfolios. You will collaborate with DevRel, product marketing, and sales to turn developer interest into engaged accounts and pipeline.

You will own programs such as podcasts, webinars, livestreams, and workshops, ensuring measurable outcomes and strong ROI, while coordinating events and field activities for global audiences.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience in developer, community, or program marketing.
• Degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent.
• Experience running recurring developer programs at scale (webinars, podcasts, livestreams).
• Experience supporting sales-led field events, sponsorships, and ROI tracking.
• Ability to translate technical topics for developers and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Run developer and technical programs end to end, including podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops, and onboarding sessions.
• Turn DevRel content into repeatable programs that support Cloud and Security launches and campaigns.
• Support SLG with field events and customer briefings; assist PLG with sign-up programs.
• Lead Akamai's developer and open source presence at industry events and projects.
• Manage budget, vendors, sponsorships, and ROI; report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Own the developer program calendar with DevRel and product marketing; scale successful programs.
