Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to drive programs that engage developers and technical buyers across Cloud and Security offerings. You will collaborate with DevRel, product marketing, and sales to convert interest into pipeline and adoption.

You will own end-to-end programs—podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops, and onboarding—while partnering with demand gen and events teams to maximize impact and ROI.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience in developer, community, or program marketing.
• Experience running recurring developer programs such as podcasts, webinars, and newsletters.
• Experience supporting sales-led field events and budgets.
• Collaboration with DevRel and product marketing teams.
• Strong written communication for technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Run developer and technical programs end to end, including podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops, and onboarding sessions.
• Turn DevRel content into repeatable programs for Cloud and Security launches.
• Support field events and customer briefings for target accounts, and PLG sign-ups.
• Lead Akamai's developer and open source presence across KubeCon, the CNCF, The Linux Foundation, and Spin projects.
• Manage budget, vendors, sponsorships, and ROI of each program, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Own the developer program calendar with DevRel and product marketing, scaling successes.
