Job summary

Lukos in Natchez, MS seeks a Social Work – Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detainees and detention staff. You will assist with detainee needs, coordinate disability accommodations, and help ensure compliance with detention standards.

The role requires English and Spanish fluency, strong communication, project management, and the ability to work in a high-stress environment. Travel may be required; a bachelor’s in social work or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level knowledge of case management processes.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment.
• Experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detainee needs, requests, and complaints related to non‑officer or immigration cases.
• Support ERO and facility staff in communication and resource coordination.
• Facilitate disability accommodations and follow‑ups with detention facilities.
• Provide language interpretation for facility staff and detainees.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database for releases and removals.
