Job summary

Lukos is seeking a Custody and Removal Coordinator in Anson, TX to support ICE detention facilities. The role focuses on assisting staff with detainee needs, language interpretation, and coordination of disability accommodations and release strategies.

The position requires a bachelor’s in social work or psychology, English/Spanish fluency, and experience with vulnerable populations. Domestic travel and shift coverage may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Master’s degree or an equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral

Responsibilities

• Assist with needs, requests, and complaints from the detained noncitizen population regarding non-officer or immigration case related issues.
• Assist ERO officers with addressing noncitizen requests related to parent/child communication and/or child welfare involvement.
• Facilitate on-site support of disability accommodations, including coordinating followup with detention facilities upon submission of a Disability Accommodation Notification to ERO HQ.
• Assist ERO and detention facility staff as a resource to facilitate the compliance of applicable agency policies and detention standards.
• Provide language interpretation for facility and ERO staff communicating with the detained noncitizen population.
• Provide general support to help maintain safety and security of the detention facility.
