Job summary

Lukos LLC is seeking a Social Worker/Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detainees across facilities. Responsibilities include addressing detainee requests, facilitating parent/child communication, and coordinating disability accommodations with facilities.

The role requires English and Spanish fluency, a social work or psychology degree, and experience in trauma-informed care or victim services. Travel and security clearances may apply as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with needs, requests, and complaints.
• Support parent/child communication and child welfare involvement.
• Coordinate disability accommodations and follow-up with detention facilities.
• Facilitate adherence to agency policies and detention standards; communicate with detainees.
• Provide referrals for medical, mental health, chaplain, and other services.
• Conduct wellness checks and follow-ups for vulnerable individuals.
• Meet newly detained individuals to orient them to CRC services.
• Support housing units and programs for vulnerable populations.
• Provide language interpretation for facility staff and detainees.
• Develop departure and release plans and connect resources.
