Job summary

Lukos is seeking a Custody and Removal Coordinator in Folkston, GA, to support ICE detention facilities and ERO staff with detainee services, discharge planning, and crisis intervention. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with needs, requests, and complaints regarding non-officer or immigration case-related issues.
• Support ERO and detention facility staff on language interpretation and communication with detained noncitizens.
• Coordinate disability accommodations and follow-up with detention facilities upon submission of notifications.
• Facilitate discussions to ensure compliance with agency policies and detention standards.
• Provide referrals for care and follow-up, including medical, mental health, chaplain services, and housing options.
• Perform welfare checks and follow-ups for vulnerable individuals as requested by ERO HQ or Field Office.
• Meet newly detained noncitizens to answer questions and provide orientation to CRC services.
• Assist with housing units and programs designed for vulnerable populations.
