Job summary

Red Knight Solutions is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist in Houston, TX to join a long-term potential CTH opportunity. The role offers pay at $20.00 per hour (W2).

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of end-user device troubleshooting experience across PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers. The position requires maintaining OEM certifications and solid ITIL knowledge, with A+ certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience troubleshooting end-user environments (PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets, printers).
• Maintain OEM certifications as directed by management.
• Understanding of ITIL methodologies; A+ certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to client-identified VIPs.
• Respond to change management requests including installing new PC equipment and end-user deskside support.
• Perform IMAC (Install/Move/Add/Change) activities.
• Perform all assigned desk-side support activities.
• Demonstrate outstanding technical and professional services skills.
• Meet customer service satisfaction levels and established metrics.
• Proactively communicate with end-users and service desk regarding arrival times, repair time estimates and status.
• Follow documented service operations policies and procedures.
