Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a full-time IT Support Technician to install, repair, upgrade, and modify PC hardware and software across Mercyhealth locations in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. The role includes analyzing software compatibility, maintaining equipment records, and providing timely technical assistance.

Travel to Mercyhealth sites is required. A2-year degree is preferred, with hardware or OS certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• AA degree preferred in Computer Science or related field.
• Hardware or OS certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, upgrade, and modify PC equipment.
• Install PC software to meet user requirements.
• Analyze software compatibility on desktops and network.
• Provide analytical support for third-party software.
• Assist with project implementations and escalation to senior technicians.
• Provide regular reports to supervisor on progress toward objectives.
• Maintain records and inventory of computer equipment.
• Travel to Mercyhealth locations as required.
