Job summary
Mercyhealth is seeking a Full-Time IT Help Desk Technician to install, repair, upgrade, and modify PC hardware and software, analyze compatibility, and resolve technical issues across multiple locations. You will maintain equipment records and inventory, support project implementations, escalate complex issues to senior technicians, and provide timely technical assistance in a fast-paced environment.
Travel to Mercyhealth locations is required; Associate’s degree is preferred and hardware or OS
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, upgrade, and modify PC equipment.
- Install PC software programs and systems to meet user requirements.
- Analyze software for compatibility on desktops and networks.
- Provide analytical support for third-party software applications.
- Advise on and support project implementations.
- Escalate issues to senior technicians as needed.
- Provide regular progress reports to supervisor.
