Job summary

Imperative Logistics Group is seeking a Desktop Support specialist in the United States (Texas) to provide high-quality desktop and technical support for business-critical functions. You will deploy and manage computers and peripherals, maintain inventories, and respond to IT requests with strong communication and teamwork.

The role covers on-site support, remote location assistance, and monitoring for security incidents, with a focus on end-user satisfaction and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide help desk support in an enterprise Windows environment.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 10 OS, Office 365, and HP printers in a networked setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems in person and remotely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality desktop/technical support to users for business-critical functions.
• Build, deploy and manage computers and peripherals; maintain hardware/software inventory.
• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Offer onsite support for remote locations and maintain a high level of response to all queries.
• Log all help desk interactions and troubleshoot desktop hardware/software or network issues.
• Coordinate connectivity of smartphones to the company email system and MDM; assist with IT security incidents and site outages.
