Job summary

Corient, a leading multi-family office, seeks a Deskside Support Engineer in San Diego to deliver high-quality end-user support on-site and remotely. You will troubleshoot issues, install and maintain PC hardware, and document activities in the ITSM system.

The role requires 3–4 years in deskside support, strong customer service, and ability to travel up to 10%. Eligible candidates must be able to work onsite 4 days per week, with after-hours or weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or equivalent proven industry experience).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and customer service skills.
• Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ticketing/incident management platforms.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, service-focused support in person, by phone, chat, or email to onsite and remote end users.
• Troubleshoot problems promptly, provide end-user assistance as needed.
• Resolve complex issues and collaborate with teams to identify root causes and solutions.
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware and equipment for optimal workstation performance.
• Document incidents and tasks in ITSM system; escalate critical incidents as needed.
• Perform inventory, shipping, and receiving IT hardware; work independently yet as a team member.
• Travel onsite 4 days per week; after-hours or weekend work as required.
