Job summary

Corient in California seeks an experienced deskside IT support specialist to deliver high-quality end-user services onsite and remotely. The role covers troubleshooting hardware, software, and network basics, with strong emphasis on Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 apps.

The candidate will document incidents in the ITSM system, assist with inventory and hardware deployment, and travel up to 10% as needed. Onsite work four days weekly is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or equivalent proven industry experience).
• 3–4 years of deskside support with end-user services focus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and customer service skills.
• Experience troubleshooting and installing laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Proficiency with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office apps (OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ticketing and incident management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, service-focused support in person, by phone, chat, or email to onsite and remote end users.
• Troubleshoot problems promptly, providing end-user assistance as needed.
• Resolve complex issues and collaborate with other teams for root causes and solutions.
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware to ensure workstation performance.
• Document incidents, problems, requests, and tasks in Corient's ITSM system.
• Escalate critical incidents to management as necessary.
• Perform daily operations related to inventory, shipping and receiving IT hardware.
• Work independently while being a collaborative team member.
