Job summary

Horrocks seeks a Design-Build MOT Lead/Manager in Seattle, WA to drive transportation projects on the Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead MOT/traffic control design efforts for freeway, interchanges, and highways with DB/PDB pursuits and projects, coordinating across disciplines.

You will work with contractor partners, develop MOT schemes, and guide the project team to meet deadlines while growing professionally within a values-driven firm.

Qualifications

• PE license, preferred states: UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
• 10+ years leading MOT/traffic control designs for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Ability to lead a team and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and management.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead MOT engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead MOT design development and coordination with contractor partners.
• Develop MOT schemes during pursuits and final traffic control plans during execution.
• Knowledge of Microstation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and team members and meet project deadlines.
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff and management.
• Grow personally and professionally within a collaborative team to support project goals.
