Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build MOT Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team in Dallas, TX. You will lead MOT engineering efforts for transportation projects and coordinate with contractors to deliver robust traffic control schemes.

The role requires 10+ years in MOT/traffic control design, a PE license (preferred), and strong client communication skills to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading MOT and traffic‑control design on infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
• Current PE license preferred in UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, or WA.

Responsibilities

• Lead MOT engineering teams for transportation DB/PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with discipline leads across projects.
• Serve as integral member of the project delivery team.
• Develop MOT schemes with contractors during pursuits and execution.
• Lead design efforts using Microstation/OpenRoads/AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Deliver designs and drawings to meet deadlines.
