Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the friendly first contact for patients. You will answer phones, verify insurance, schedule appointments, collect balances, and support physicians in a busy two-provider office.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones
• Greeting patients and vendors
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
• Verify Insurance
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks for busy two Provider office
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures
