DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to handle front-desk duties, greet patients, and collect insurance information. You will schedule appointments, help with payments, and support patients with guidance while upholding safety and efficiency in a busy dermatology clinic.

The role emphasizes accurate data collection, customer service excellence, and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with medical terminology a plus.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve high patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line phones.
• Greet patients and vendors.
• Sign patients in and out, obtain insurance information and other necessary data.
• Schedule appointments by phone and at checkout desks.
• Collect outstanding balances and copays.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
