Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group in Ohio is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to greet patients, answer multi-line phones, collect insurance information, and schedule appointments. You will work with front desk staff to ensure smooth patient flow, collect balances, and provide guidance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with medical terminology is a plus
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones
• Greeting patients and vendors
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
