Golden State Dermatology, a physician-led dermatology group with locations in California and Colorado, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to welcome patients, check them in/out, verify coverage, and manage the front desk.

You will coordinate appointments, communicate with patients on waitlists, educate on skincare products, and support a fast-paced team to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• Healthcare front desk experience preferred.
• Dermatology exposure a plus.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out of patients.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Answer phone inquiries and direct calls.
• Maintain patient records and scheduling.
• Audit future appointments and manage waitlists to fill slots.
• Educate patients about skincare products and assist with sales.
• Multitask and support the Practice Manager as needed.
