Job summary

Golden State Dermatology is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Sacramento practice. You will warmly welcome patients, assist with check-in/out, verify insurance eligibility, manage calls, and maintain accurate patient records.

A strong emphasis on service quality and patient comfort drives daily activities. The role also involves scheduling management, outreach to waiting lists for earlier slots, and selling skincare products while educating patients and staff on available treatments.

Qualifications

• Previous Dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Handle phone inquiries and maintain patient records.
• Manage appointment schedules and audit for future appointments.
• Contact patients on waiting lists to offer earlier slots when available.
• Provide skincare product education and assist with product sales.
• Multitask to ensure timely completion of duties; additional duties may be assigned.
