Golden State Dermatology is seeking a Medical Receptionist to welcome patients, verify insurance, and manage front desk duties at our California clinics. You will handle check-in/check-out, schedule appointments, and maintain patient records while providing excellent service.

You will also assist with phone inquiries, auditing schedules, and promoting skincare products. The role requires multitasking and a compassionate approach to patient care within a dynamic dermatology practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical front desk or clinic setting preferred.
• Ability to verify insurance coverage and eligibility accurately.
• Excellent communication and patient-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility; update patient records.
• Handle phone inquiries and maintain accurate appointment schedules.
• Audit upcoming appointments, confirm attendance, and collect information before visits.
• Fill earliest available slots from waitlists when openings arise.
• Provide product education and promote skincare products for purchase.
• Multitask to ensure timely completion of duties; assist Practice Manager as needed.
