Golden State Dermatology is a dermatologist group expanding across California. As a Medical Receptionist, you will welcome patients, handle check-in/check-out, verify insurance, answer calls, and maintain records.

You will manage scheduling, contacting patients for earlier slots when possible, and help with skincare product education and sales. The role emphasizes multitasking, exceptional service, and patient satisfaction, with additional duties at the Practice Manager’s discretion.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or front-desk roles in healthcare is beneficial.
• Ability to handle phone inquiries and patient check-in/out processes.
• Familiarity with verifying insurance coverage and eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Audit and manage appointment schedules, confirm attendance, and collect patient information.
• Educate patients on skincare products and assist with product sales.
• Perform multitasking to support front desk operations and patient care.
