Job summary

Fortra is seeking a Project Manager to lead customer deployments end-to-end, aligning business objectives with project activities. You will coordinate a team of consultants, manage schedules, and ensure on-time delivery with high quality, while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires experience in multi-phased projects, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Similar Work Experience.
• Formal Project Management qualification such as PMP / Prince 2 / APM / ITIL Transition.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading multi-phased projects in a matrix environment.
• Minimum of 3 years in customer service/facing industries.
• Proven experience of key project management skills on complex, dynamic, fast-paced projects.
• Strong analysis skills and ability to evaluate requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships inside and outside Fortra.
• Dedication to customer service and ability to manage project risk and urgency.
• Ability to motivate and influence customers and 3rd parties to deliver on dependencies.
• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn about all Fortra products/services.
• Willingness to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bright, inquiring mind and drive to learn and evolve.
• Knowledge of web apps, security compliance, cloud architecture advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead ~20 deployment projects with varying scope.
• Define project scope with customers and build detailed plans.
• Ensure on-time deployment with high quality for customer and Fortra.
• Coordinate internal and external consultant teams.
• Communicate project progress via quality reporting.
• Build strong customer relationships and drive outcomes.
• Maintain project control of constraints, risks, scope, and schedule.
• Develop customer knowledge of Fortra products to maximize value.
• Identify risks early and escalate as needed for successful outcomes.
• Maintain utilization target of 85% or greater.
• Travel as required.
