Job summary

IES is seeking a Department Manager to lead the respective team, overseeing staffing, materials, finance, and customer delivery goals across the department. You will recruit, guide and mentor staff, ensure project profitability, and coordinate customer interface and account processes to meet performance targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years supervisory or managerial experience.
• 5+ years in telecommunications or related field.
• Experience interfacing with customers and managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise staff per Company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to meet department goals and objectives.
• Manage workload distribution of department staff.
• Plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability.
• Manage scopes of work including telecom, AV, security, life safety, estimating or BIM.
• Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
• Manage quality and safety on customer work.
• Act as Company liaison with customer representatives.
• Create and implement account process improvements.
