Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Department Manager to supervise and direct the department team. This role focuses on staffing, profitably managing projects, and delivering high-quality customer outcomes across multiple projects.

You will recruit, train, and lead staff, ensure adherence to company policies, and drive process improvements while maintaining safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote and discharge staff as needed.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to meet department goals.
• Plan and manage workload distribution of department staff.
• Manage project profitability to achieve company goals.
• Oversee multiple tasks/projects and supervise multiple direct reports.
