Job summary

wdg is seeking a friendly, professional front desk dental receptionist to support patient scheduling, charting, insurance verification, and billing. Travel to Bellevue and Issaquah locations is possible as needed.

The role requires excellent communication with patients and staff, a healthcare or dental background preferred, and COVID-19 safety measures to be followed. Training is provided for reliable individuals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in healthcare, finances, or sales.
• 1+ years of experience in dental.
• Strong verbal communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the patient charting process, prioritizing and reviewing charts for completeness.
• Courteously answers the telephone and interact professionally with patients
• Greet all patients with a smile and a professional, courteous attitude
• Manage the patient schedule, working cooperatively with front and back-office staff to ensure workflow
• Verify insurance coverage for the planned treatment
• Collect payment from patients and reconciles daily cash reports
• Preparing patient prescriptions
• Present treatment plans after calculating patient co-payments and insurance benefits
• Educating patients about their treatment
• Preparing & submitting dental claims
