Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Practice Manager of Operations to join our Jefferson County-supported office. You will collaborate with Doctors to drive practice goals, lead a patient-centered team, and foster a culture of learning and support.

The PMO will partner closely with leadership to monitor performance, develop financial targets, and coordinate training initiatives that advance both patient care and office operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required or 3–5 years leadership experience in a professional setting.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Trustworthiness and patient confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Strive toward mastery of the PMO role by completing PMO training to develop technical, commitment, and leadership skills.
• Develop and pursue annual top 10 business goals and 16 personal development goals (5 technical, 5 commitment, 6 personality).
• Ensure goals and priorities of Doctors and teams are achieved through servant leadership.
• Support Doctor Led, Hygiene Driven, Operations focus through monthly synergy meetings, weekly team meetings, and morning huddles.
• Partner with Doctors to identify skills needed for open positions and select a proper team.
• Onboard new team members with recruiting and support office.
• Assist Doctors in prioritizing and planning CE through Education and Leadership programs.
