Responsibilities

• Manage daily dental office operations: scheduling, appointment management, patient flow.
• Optimize workflows, manage patient wait times, enhance patient experiences.
• Primary point of contact for patients; address concerns professionally.
• Inform patients about treatment plans, finances, and post-care instructions.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate staff (receptionists, assistants, hygienists, coordinators).
• Foster a positive work environment and culture of teamwork and learning.
• Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Monitor performance and conduct reviews for all team members.
• Oversee billing, insurance verification, and timely collections.
• Manage accounts receivable and patient payment plans.
• Develop and manage office budgets and monitor profitability.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA; maintain up-to-date regulations.
• Implement and enforce policies and protocols for consistency.
• Develop marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain current ones.
• Coordinate recalls and appointment reminders; drive patient retention.
• Collaborate with dentist/practice owner on growth strategies and market trends.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and increase patient volume.
