Job summary

Smile Brands is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients, greeting and guiding them from scheduling through treatment and payment options. You will create a warm, efficient patient experience, verify insurance, schedule appointments, answer questions, and help patients understand their care and financial arrangements.

This role supports a collaborative dental team, contributes to a stress-free visit, and helps patients feel welcomed, informed and cared for

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a dental, healthcare, medical, hospitality or customer-service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for helping people.
• Ability to build rapport and create positive relationships with patients.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• A positive, professional and patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Greeting: Create a warm, welcoming environment and make every patient feel valued from the moment they arrive.
• Guiding: Support patients throughout their visit, including check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification and answering questions about their care.
• Treatment Support: Help patients understand treatment recommendations, payment options and available financial arrangements.
• Patient Experience: Build trusting relationships with patients and help make their dental experience comfortable and stress-free.
• Communication: Answer phones, respond to patient questions and communicate clearly with patients, doctors and the dental team.
• Scheduling: Maintain an efficient schedule and help maximize opportunities for patients to receive the care they need.
• Gratitude: Show genuine appreciation for every patient and create an experience that makes them feel cared for and confident in choosing us.
