Job summary

Heartland Dental, through Woodland Trail Dental Care, seeks a Practice Manager of Operations to guide daily office activities and lead a patient-first team. You will partner with the Doctor to deliver exceptional service, analyze performance data, and implement best practices to elevate office performance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in leadership, strong communication and HIPAA awareness, and a drive to improve processes in a fast-paced dental setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership in a professional setting.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Ability to analyze processes, identify trends, and implement solutions.
• Strong communication, coaching and conflict resolution skills.
• HIPAA training and protecting PHI per role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business partner to the Doctor, delivering office support and service.
• Lead and coach the team to improve processes and outcomes.
• Set customer service standards and foster teamwork.
• Oversee daily operations: insurance claims filings, payments, patient issues, scheduling, and inventory.
• Select, onboard, train, and retain team members; review business reports for opportunities.
