Job summary

PDS Health in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee to learn the skills and company knowledge to independently run a PDS dental office. Through the OM Development Program and hands-on supervision, you will develop leadership, staffing, financial management, and patient experience excellence.

Travel to multiple offices is required as part of the development. Upon completion, you will be prepared to lead a team and ensure compliant, profitable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related work experience in operational management.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; MVRO check at hire.
• Willingness to travel to multiple offices daily, reliable transport.
• Alternate transport acceptable if license/insurance unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Model company culture and values; promote PDS culture daily.
• Hire, train, supervise and coach team members for fit.
• Investigate and resolve staff/patient issues with timely solutions.
• Execute the PDS Operational Model with the Owner Dentist.
• Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
• Manage expenses to meet monthly goals and budget.
• Show proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols.
• Lead team development for the Perfect Patient Experience.
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance feedback.
• Maintain professional appearance and open communications with supervisors.
• Understand People functions and pay/benefit guidance.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory bodies.
• Report weekly to Regional Manager on progress and goals.
• Develop office success plans for staff and protocols.
