Job summary

PDS Health is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee to learn and independently run a dental office under the OM Development Program. You will engage in structured curriculum, on-the-job practice, and development meetings to prepare for full office management in 4–6 months.

The role focuses on building a strong team, driving revenue, and ensuring adherence to policies while coordinating with the Owner Dentist. Travel across multiple offices is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; license verified at hire.
• Must travel to multiple offices per day with reliable transportation.
• Alternate transportation acceptable if driver’s license/insurance not available.
• Travel may be planned or unplanned; may change without notice.

Responsibilities

• Model the company culture and drive best operating practices.
• Hire and retain right-fit team members through training and coaching.
• Investigate and resolve staff and patient issues with timely, effective solutions.
• Execute the PDS Operational Model with Owner Dentist to meet office imperatives.
• Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
• Manage expenses to meet monthly goals and budget.
• Show proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols.
• Lead team development and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to staff for continuous improvement.
• Maintain professional appearance and open communications with supervisors.
