Job summary

PDS Health seeks an Operations Manager Trainee to begin a structured development program and progress toward independently running a dental office. You will learn the PDS Operational Model, lead Front Office and Back Office teams, and drive financial performance with support from the regional leadership.

You’ll travel between offices as needed, demonstrate strong people leadership, and complete the OM Development Program to achieve full management responsibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.

Responsibilities

• Model company culture, values and best operational practices.
• Assess, hire and retain right-fit team members.
• Resolve staff and patient issues with timely, creative solutions.
• Execute the PDS Operational Model with the Owner Dentist.
• Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
• Manage expenses to meet monthly goals and budget.
• Show proficiency with cash management and accounting protocols.
• Lead team development for the Perfect Patient Experience.
• Deliver leadership, coaching and mentoring to staff.
• Maintain professional appearance in line with policies.
• Understand People-related tools and resources (assessment, hiring, retention, compensation).
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and regulatory bodies.
• Report weekly to Regional Manager on progress and goals.
• Develop and implement staff development plans and office protocols.
• Take on additional duties to improve team outcomes.
