Job summary

PDS Health seeks an Operations Manager Trainee to gain the skills and company knowledge to independently run a financially viable PDS dental office. The OMT participates in the OM Development Program with support from their supervisor.

Through structured curriculum, on-the-job practice and development meetings, the trainee will reach full office management capability within 4–6 months of program completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management
• Operations Manager Trainee must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Travel to multiple offices daily with reliable transportation
• In lieu of a license, alternate transportation must be available to travel to offices

Responsibilities

• Modeling company culture, values, standards and best operational practices
• Hiring and retention of right-fit team members through training and coaching
• Resolve staff and patient issues with timely, effective solutions
• Execute the PDS Operational Model to meet office goals
• Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth
• Manage expenses to meet monthly budgets
• Show proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols
• Develop and mentor the Perfect Patient Experience
• Lead and coach team members to identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain professional appearance and adherence to policies
• Understand tools and resources for People functions and compensation guidance
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and regulations
• Report weekly to Regional Manager on accomplishments and goals
• Achieve competency in managing Front and Back Office teams by program end
• Develop an office success plan and protocols for management absences
• Handle other duties to improve team development outcomes
