Job summary

Heartland Dental’s Dental Care of Fairfield is seeking a Dental Office Assistant with prior dental front desk experience. You’ll greet patients, manage phones, schedule with Dentrix, and process claims in a fast-paced office focused on patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI for job-related tasks with required HIPAA training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and communications with patients and insurance.
• Schedule and confirm appointments using Dentrix for multiple providers.
• Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims and coverage details.
• Post payments and manage accounts receivable; discuss treatment options with patients.
