Job summary

Heartland Dental, Capstone Dental partner, is seeking a Business Assistant to join our team. You’ll support our front office, greet patients, and help ensure a smooth, welcoming patient experience.

This role emphasizes teamwork and patient-first care in a fast-paced environment. You’ll manage phones and emails, schedule for multiple providers in Dentrix, file and follow up on insurance claims, post payments, and assist with accounts receivable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and protecting PHI as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, email with patients and insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records; schedule multiple providers.
• Verify and file insurance claims; follow up on outstanding claims.
• Post payments and manage accounts receivable; discuss options with patients.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
