Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC and Smile Design Trinity are seeking a Front Office Business Assistant to join our team. You’ll greet patients, manage front office duties, and use Dentrix to schedule and record patient information, while coordinating with providers to optimize office efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI and HIPAA training; protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression of our team.
• Manage front office duties: answering phones, mail/email, and communication with patients and insurance companies.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records; schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits and coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments; process accounts receivable; review treatment plan fees and payment options.
