Premier Dental Care is seeking a Business Assistant to join our team under Heartland Dental's support structure. The role involves greeting patients, managing front office tasks, and coordinating with insurance providers to ensure smooth operations.

You will use Dentrix for scheduling, handle appointments across multiple providers, process claims and payments, and support the implementation of Heartland Dental systems to optimize office performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI-protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and communications with patients/insurers.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits.
• Post payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems.
